YogaFit increases the participant’s flexibility and strength while helping to reduce stress by encouraging proper breathing. No prior yoga experience is needed to participate. The class is taught on the floor and participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. All UAA faculty and staff members are invited to participate. Pilates is core strength training done on the floor to help tone muscle, increase circulation, relieve stress, increase strength and flexibility, and improve overall mobility and precision of body movement.
