On his exercise routine
"In the winter I really enjoy going to the gym to burn off excess energy. When its dark and cold I tend to spend more time indoors. Stopping at the gym for an hour or so lets me settle from the day and burn off a little stress. I do a little bit of weights or kettlebell and then some intervals on the bike for aerobic health. In the summer I still try to get to the gym a couple times a week, but I spend a lot more time doing outdoor activities. I’ll take my dog for a hike or jog down to the schoolyard and do some sprints on the grass. The dog loves chasing after me so it’s a win win situation."
On being a wellness consultant
"I enjoy being an Individualized Health Planning (IHP) wellness consultant because I like helping people feel better. When a person feels good about them self they project a different image and people around them notice and treat them differently. I like that moment when someone suddenly realizes they’ve made a true lifestyle change rather than just a quick fix."
