Get the Point!
Three-month incentive prizes awarded in May

As of April 28, there were 155 people who had qualified to win an incentive prize for the first three months of the Get the Point program. If you haven't entered your points for April, do it soon. Otherwise, your prize may be delayed. Look for a prize notification email in mid-May from:
getthepoint@winforalaska.com.

May is also the last month to start the Get the Point program in order to be eligible for incentive prizes. Register on the Health Activity Tracker and log your healthy activity.

Fairbanks Weight Watchers
Program renewing in June

Anyone in Fairbanks interested in participating in Weight Watchers at Work is invited to join the program at any time for a prorated cost. The current program will renew in June.

Sessions are held every Tuesday at 12 noon in the VCA's Conference room in the Administrative Services Center.

It's like a mini health fair that comes to you

A Wellness Break is a free half-day event brought to you by WIN for Alaska—your Health In Action Team. We offer blood cholesterol and glucose screenings, chair massage (many locations), healthy snacks, a wellness walk, and presentations. The format lets you drop in and out or stay for the whole event.


May Challenge—Bike to Work
May is National Bike Month™

Since 1956, the League of American Bicyclists has sponsored this celebration of cycling. May is recognized as National Bike Month™; the third week in May is Bike-to-Work Week; and the third Friday of May is Bike-to-Work Day.

In May, bike to work at least one day and earn 10 points in HAT.
