Family Fitness Fun Day is Saturday, October 4,
11 am - 1 pm at the UAS Rec Center in Juneau. Please register so we have enough goodie bags and activities. Register now!

Nordic walking demo, afternoon Pilates, and organic produce
Nordic walking, October 8, 12-1 pm
Join Nordic walking instructor, Ronn Randall and WIN for Alaska wellness consultant, Heidi Beer, for an hour-long instructional demo on this style of walking for fitness. Registration required.
Pilates, weekly beginning October 29
Pilates and strength training class will meet weekly through the semester. There's a 25-person class-size limit.
Two class times to choose from:
• 1:45pm to 2:30 class Registration required.
• 4:30pm to 5:15 class Registration required.
Coming in November—Certified organic produce delivery
UAA and WIN for Alaska is partnering with Full Circle Farms to bring you organic produce. Beginning in November, you can sign up to receive a weekly or twice monthly box of farm-fresh food delivered to the UAA Cuddy Center through Full Circle Farms CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. CSA boxes contain a variety of fresh, organic fruits, vegetables and herbs that you can customize. Look for details in November.

Wellness Break is a free, half-day event brought to you by WIN for
Alaska. We offer blood cholesterol and
glucose screenings, chair massage (available in many UA locations), healthy snacks, a wellness walk, and mini-presentations. Wellness Breaks scheduled for October and later will have new presentations to choose from.
