Microwave Popcorn:
Safe snacking

Microwave popcorn is one of America's favorite snacks, but the butter flavor is raising questions about whether the tasty treat could be dangerous to something other than the waist.

WIN for Alaska Wellness Consultant, Cindy Salmon, has this popcorn tip that will save you worry, and a few calories.

Homemade Microwave Popcorn
You'll need:
A small paper lunch bag
About 1/4 cup popcorn kernels
I Can't Believe it's Not Butter Spray

Directions: add kernels to bag, enough to cover the bottom. Double fold the bag at the top. Place the bag in the microwave on its side. If your microwave has a popcorn button use that setting, otherwise microwave on high for 1:30 to 2 minutes, or until there are about 5 seconds between pops.

Take the bag out of the microwave and spray popcorn with I Can't Believe it's Not Butter spray. YUM!
