Erika Van Flein was one of only eight Fairbanks residents to finish the 114th Boston Marathon. Erika was the top female finisher from Fairbanks, finishing in 3:32:33 to place 7,848 overall and 1,612 among the women. This topped her previous best by some six minutes! Additionally, she placed 28th out of 785 finishers in the 50-54 age group.
