Geri is a great example of health and wellness. She goes to the Student Recreation Center (SRC) nearly every day during her lunch. She sends messages when she is ready to go and invites a colleague to go along. Many times on cold days this winter when it would have been easy to skip the gym, Geri would go and talk a colleague into going, and even drive them down. Geri gives pep talks that help coworkers to get out the door to exercise. She is always encouraging others to be healthy and is constantly sharing new exercises and new healthy eating ideas. Geri has been doing the Individual Health Planning (IHP) Sessions and Get the Point (GTP) Incentive Campaign. She follows the advice of Gerald (Damron) and is working to be healthier.

"For the five years I have known Geri, she has been a wellness champion. She is continually working to improve her overall fitness and well-being. I have seen her train for the Equinox Relay, plan for long hikes on the Pinnell Mountain and Chilkoot trails, work out daily, work to reduce her overall stress, and more importantly, encourage others to do the same. Whenever we have the wellness breaks in our office she is the first to sign up and attend. She takes wellness seriously and for that I think she's a fantastic role model and wellness champion!"
