Wellness Champion
Congratulations Jodi Bailey!

Joellen "Jodi" Bailey, UAF
Instructor, Interior Aleutians Campus

Jodi became the first rookie ever to complete both the Yukon Quest and the Iditarod in the same season. She went on to compete in the David Salmon Memorial Yukon Flats 300 sled dog race. A few years ago, Jodi would not have been able to accomplish this! She has lost a lot of weight, and worked hard in IHP and GTP to restore her health and energy levels. She has been on a quest for health, setting goals and working hard to meet them. This includes completing in the Equinox Marathon the past two years and encouraging her co-workers to join in. I never would have completed the Equinox or started GTP without Jodi's constant encouragement. She sets a wonderful example for her students and co-workers.

~ Jodi was nominated by a friend and coworker.
