Schedule a Wellness Break for your department today!

A Wellness Break is a free half-day event brought to you by WIN for Alaska, Inc.—Your Wellness Team. A Wellness Break will put some fun into your day, while giving your department a healthy outlet for enhanced health. We offer blood cholesterol and glucose screenings, chair massages, healthful snacks, wellness exercises, and mini-presentations.

It's Free: A Wellness Break is a benefit of your UA Health In Action program, and is fully supported by the University of Alaska.

yoga photoIt’s Good for your Mind and Body: You'll be infused with good health knowledge from our experienced wellness consultants. Also enjoy a relaxing chair massage, learn your blood cholesterol and glucose numbers and participate in a wellness exercise.

It's Easy: To schedule a Wellness Break for your department, simply fill-out an online Wellness Break Request Form.

Get the Point: Keep Tracking
Keep tracking to qualify for your four-month prize

Congratulations! This month, four-month prize emails will be sent to eligible participants who began tracking in March.

If you started the GTP Incentive Campaign in April, July is the last month to track points, reach a tier, and earn a four-month incentive reward. You must have at least one point in each of the two and/or four consecutive months to be eligible.

Get adequate sleep

Sleep is often one of the first things to go when people feel pressed for time. However, getting adequate, quality sleep is essential for your health, mood, memory, judgment and safety.

This month, get 7-8 hours of sleep a night for 25+ nights and enter your information in the GTP Tracking System to receive 25 points.

Personal Wellness: "Got 7-8 hours of sleep a night 25+ days of the month" (15 points)
Wellness Events: "Personal Wellness: Participated in this month’s Health Focus on the Health Link" (10 points)

Only UA Health Plan eligible employees are eligible for prizes.

The GTP Tracking System can be used throughout the year to record your healthful habits and activity. Rewards can be earned during the annual Get the Point Incentive Campaign period between February and July.
