Strategic Planning
During strategic planning we will learn more about your organization. We can make recommendations on how best to facilitate your wellness plan based on your organizations needs. Decisions will include an internal communications strategy.
Health Risk Assessments
- The Health Risk Assessment is a short online health questionnaire that participants complete to determine their risks.
- After completing the questionnaire participants receive a thorough report that outlines personal risk factors, stage of behavior change, and recommendations for risk reduction. Becoming aware of risks leads many to take an active approach toward their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health choices.
- The program administrator will receive an executive summary and aggregate report.
- WIN for Alaska uses the results to create targeted programs to reduce your organizations risk factors.
Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, and Bioimpedence Screenings
- We provide a complete lipid profile which includes: Total Cholesterol TC, Triglycerides-TRC, HDL and LDL Cholesterol, Glucose, and
APT – liver function test.
- The screenings require only a simple finger stick, cuff, and handle grip.
- With our state-of-the-art Cholestech system we can provide on-site testing with results in approximately five minutes per person.
Wellness Portal & Health Activity Tracker
- We develop a customized wellness portal for employees to access the online portion of the Health In Action program.
- The wellness portal provides a variety of online resources to equip participants with tips and information on how to develop a healthy lifestyle.
- In the Health Activity Tracker participants log their participation in healthy activities and earn points toward incentive prizes and drawings.
Community Resource List
WIN for Alaska compiles information on local community health resources in order to provide employees with awareness of what health tools are available.
Wellness Committee
- A select group of employees will be on this committee to provide direction, feedback, and be internal Health In Action resources for other employees.
- The Wellness Committee will meet at least two times per year.
Well Workplace Award
A Well Workplace Award received from the Wellness Councils of America recognizes quality and excellence in workplace health promotion. We will work with your organization to achieve this coveted status.
